Classic Cars Will Parade Through Peekskill

More than 50 classic cars will parade through downtown Peekskill on Sunday, Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for an event called Peekskill's Grand Prix. The show is presented by the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce.

Car enthusiasts can expect to see Austin-Healeys, MGs, Jaguars, Corvettes, Rolls-Royces, Porsches, and Mustangs.

Following the parade, each car will be on display on Central Avenue from Division Street to Nelson Avenue to allow people to see the vehicles up close and meet the owners.

The starting line for the parade is on the corner of Park and North Division Streets at the Gazebo. The cars will make their way along North Division Street, then left onto Main Street. The vehicles will travel along Main Street, crossing over Route 9, then make a left onto North Water Street to Hudson Avenue. The autos will make a left onto Hudson, go under Route 9, then turn left onto South Street, then right onto South Division, left onto Esther Street, left onto Brown Street.

For those traveling by train, a free shuttle service is being offered to and from the train station to downtown from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
